Chill on the Hill
During the summer, the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls will offer to children between the ages of two and eight a series of free, forty-five minute presentations by area artists and performers who will share their love of an instrument, a style of music, dance, and other types of artistic and/or cultural activity. Many studies show that introducing children to the arts at an early age helps them in all aspects of their lives. The Chill on the Hill program is part of a wider collaboration called Discovering the Mysteries of Chippewa Falls with the CF Library and CFMIT, and is supported in part by a grant from the WalMart Foundation (Lake Hallie store). The presentations will be on Tuesdays starting June 16 through August 25 from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. For more information, or to volunteer for a Tuesday morning slot, please contact Deb Johnson at 715-726-9000.
