SNOWMOBILE TRAILS

Come and have fun! Chippewa County has over 300 miles of snowmobile trails, as well as many miles of club trails. The variety of our trails is what makes them so fun and exciting. While riding our trails check out the glacial formations, rolling hills, and the beautiful wooded forests.

Our County Forest & Parks department keeps these trails beautifully groomed. This trail system travels through Chippewa County and connects with thousands of miles of Wisconsin trails.

Trail Conditions:
Check out Chippewa County snowmobile trail conditions at Travel Wisconsin’s Snow Report or call Chippewa County Forest and Parks Department at (715) 726-7880

Snowmobile Regulations:
Check out this website from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for answers about registrations, age requirements and safety tips.

Non-Wisconsin Residents:
Wisconsin law requires non-residents who use Wisconsin snowmobile trails to display either Wisconsin registration or a non-resident snowmobile trail use sticker. It’s easy to apply for this online at Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Lodging & Dining:
Need a place to stay while enjoying these beautiful trails? Chippewa Falls has a large selection of Resorts and Hotels. Make sure to take time to sample some of our delicious food at our Dining establishments.

Contact us for a snowmobile map and other area information.
