We appreciate the Chippewa Area History Center hosting our Coffee & Commerce this month, sponsored by Chippewa Valley Music Festivals! Such a unique location offered a glimpse into our history, while learning of new and upcoming opportunities at Chippewa Valley Music Festivals. Thanks to all who attended!

       

Leadership Chippewa Falls

April's Leadership Chippewa Falls program focused on the topic of Healthcare, educating participants on healthcare in our area and the issues confronting this industry. Sessions of this month's program included a wellness panel of various healthcare Chamber members, a presentation on senior care, and current healthcare updates. Thank you to our Chamber members who dedicated time with our Leadership program, helping local professionals become community leaders!

    

Business After Hours

Our Business After Hours for the month of April was well-attended by both long-standing and new members! A huge thank you goes out to our host and sponsor Smiles in Motion Pediatric Dentistry. Thank you to Smiles in Motion and their team for putting on such a great event, and for sharing their journey from starting in Chippewa Falls to expanding throughout the Chippewa Valley!

         

Next Stop Realty...Test Drive (Financial Literacy)

High school students attended Test Drive - Next Stop Reality, a financial literacy program developed by Royal Credit Union that was hosted at Chippewa Falls YMCA. This program offers students the opportunity to experience a real life simulation of money and finances to better prepare for their future. Students went through steps selecting a career, education required for that career, housing, utilities, transportation, and other necessities, while experience life's twists and turns that they must navigate financially. THANK YOU to our Chamber members, and all volunteers that truly made this event possible, better preparing our students for their futures!
