Chippewa Valley Forage Council Spring Seminar

The Chippewa Valley Forage Council will host its annual spring seminar on March 21 at the Back 40 Dining and Cocktails from 11:30am to 3:00pm. Forage, dairy, and livestock farmers are invited to attend.

Speakers and topics include Chelsea Russell, Local Council Coordinator, “Midwest Forage Association Update”, Les Danielson, Cadott Area Farmer, “Chippewa River Producer Led Watershed Grant Program”, Leonard Polzin, UW-Madison Division of Extension Dairy Market Outreach Specialist, “Dairy Market Update”, Bill Halfman, UW – Madison Division of Extension Beef Outreach Specialist, “Nutrition Consideration for the Beef Cowherd”, Ryan Sterry, UW-Madison Division of Extension Livestock Educator for Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire Counties, “Transitioning to Beef: Considerations for Cattle Handling”, and Jerry Clark, UW-Madison Division of Extension Crops & Soils Educator for Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire Counties, “Local Nitrogen Management Research”.
