School for Beginning Beef Production
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension is excited to announce the launch of the School for Beginning Beef Production – an online educational series designed for individuals new to beef cattle production or those looking to add beef to their farm. Six-sessions will be held in January 2025 to learn from UW-Madison Extension specialists and educators.

SIX, FREE,1 ½ hour online sessions will be held from 7–8.30 pm on January 14,16, 21, 23, 28, and 30th over Zoom.


Your registration provides access to the evening sessions and other resources.

January 16 - Marketing: Begin with the End in Mind
January 21 - Beef Cattle Nutrition
January 23 - Veterinary and Recordkeeping Skills
January 28 - Herd Reproduction to Build Your Future
January 30 - Stocker/Backgrounder/Finisher Enterprises

The school is free, but class size is limited, and you must register online at https://go.wisc.edu/786mcy by January 7, 2025.
