Business After Hours
Business After Hours kicked off for the year with our February BAH hosted by Chippewa Youth Hockey and co-sponsored by Chippewa Steel Hockey and Bubbles BBQ. With great views of the rinks, many great connections being made, and some tasty food, members were able to network and learn more about our host and co-sponsors!

Leadership Chippewa Falls - Government & Emergency Services
February's Leadership session focused on Government & Emergency Services where participants first gathered at Chippewa Falls' City Hall to hear from a panel of speakers in local government, then a panel of speakers in public safety/emergency services. From there, the group visited Chippewa County courthouse, heard from a County Board panel, then toured Chippewa County Jail. Learning how local municipalities and public safety teams work together throughout our County and beyond, showed this year's class what it means to be a part of a community and needing to support each other to keep our community safe and thriving.

Schools2Skills - Culinary & Hospitality
Middle school students from CFAUSD visited McDonald's- Chippewa Falls where they got a behind-the-scenes tour and were introduced to their extensive scholarship programs. Next stop was CVTC to learn about their Culinary Management Program. After touring the kitchens, CVTC culinary students prepared a delicious lunch for the middle schoolers. Next, the group visited Staybridge Suites Eau Claire - Altoona where students discovered additional career opportunities in the Hospitality industry. Thank you to these organizations and businesses for partnering with us to offer students a glimpse into local careers in the Culinary and Hospitality industries!
