November Monthly Recap
Posted:
Here's a look back at the highlights and memorable moments from November! Thank you to our members, ambassadors, and staff for helping us do the things most people think just happen!
Nonprofit Roundtable
Nonprofit organizations from the Chippewa Valley gathered at the Heyde Center to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. Breakout sessions topics included fundraising ideas, partnerships with other nonprofits, and utilizing A.I. technology. We're grateful for the impactful work our local nonprofits do to strengthen our community!
Coffee & Commerce
November Coffee & Commerce was hosted by McDonald's Chippewa Falls, and sponsored by Security Financial Bank. Thank you to our members for attending and making this networking event a success!
Ambassador Meeting
Our Chamber ambassadors met this month, wrapping up Membership Drive that concluded in October, sharing business updated throughout the community, and looking to upcoming events finishing out 2024. These individuals are the red coats you see at our ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, networking events, and annual events! We sincerly appreciate the time and efforts of our ambassadors, not only during membership drive, but throughout the year as well. Shout out to Ambassador Chair, Sarah Gordee, for bringing in the most new members during our 2024 Membership Drive!
Thank you to those who attended our November meeting: Tyler Sperry, Zach Schimmel, Trina Banks, Carrie Nielsen, Tiffany Thompson, Josh Beaudette, Tami Severson, Justin Troyan, Amber Karn, Mike Farrow, Sarah Gordee, Mike Stoffel, Mike Crawford
Leadership Chippewa Falls - Community Service & Quality of Life Session
This month's Leadership session focused on Community Service and Quality of Life with an emphasis on philanthropy. Participants gathered at the Irvine Park Welcome Center and kicked the morning off with a message from City Planner and Go Chippewa County Tourism Division. A panel of speakers then discussed philanthropy and community service, the impact it makes, and various ways participants can get involved to add to the quality of life in our community. Participants then packed take home goodies bags for a local humane association and headed to the history center to finish out the morning learning about the history of Chippewa County and what makes Chippewa Falls the unique community it is today!
