Royal Construction Recognized at Contractors Banquet

At the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin’s Projects of Distinction (POD) Award Banquet held on Thursday, January 16th in Wisconsin Dells, Royal Construction had the privilege of being recognized for two of its recently completed projects.

At the banquet, a total of 43 projects were celebrated for their excellence in safety, craftsmanship, execution and coordination, scheduling, overcoming difficult and unusual challenges, owner satisfaction, and overall distinctiveness. After submission, these projects were evaluated by 23 judges who applied their extensive architectural, engineering, and construction knowledge to a rigorous set of criteria. The Projects of Distinction Awards are designed to honor the best construction projects built by ABC of Wisconsin’s members.

  1. Station 955 - Eau Claire, WI
    • Category: General Contractor - Commercial Projects Over $10 Million
    • Award: Silver
    • Project Highlights: Station 955 features 258 apartment units, ranging from studio to 3-bedroom layouts, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a spacious community room, and underground parking. This project was completed in just 17 months, reaching completion in August 2024. We are incredibly proud of the efficient timeline and the high-quality work put into this residential development.
  2. American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation (ABSF) Mt. Telemark Village Base Camp - Cable, WI
    • Category: General Contractor - Commercial Projects $2 to $10 Million
    • Award: Gold
    • Project Highlights: The 13,700 sq. ft. ABSF project was truly one-of-a-kind, featuring a V-B wood-frame structure with exposed glulam columns and beams, long sloping ceilings, and mono-pitched rooflines. We were honored to contribute to the growth of the ABSF community and were thrilled to receive this recognition for our team’s hard work on such a distinctive project.

Both awards are a testament to the talent, dedication, and expertise of our team, and we are excited to share these accomplishments with the community.
