Security Health Plan hosting Medicare information sessions

Western Wisconsin Medicare beneficiaries and people who will soon be eligible for Medicare are invited to learn how Medicare Advantage plans offered by Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., can help them afford and receive high quality health care and services.

Free informational in-person and online seminars and personal appointments are being offered this fall during Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. The AEP is the only time most Medicare beneficiaries can change the way they receive their benefits.

Security Health Plan’s five Medicare Advantage HMO-POS options provide rich benefits that include:

  • Medical and prescription drug coverage with monthly premiums as low as $0.
  • $0 office visit copay to see a primary care physician.
  • Low insulin costs at no more than $35 for a 1-month supply.
  • Freedom to see any Medicare provider and pay the same costs for Medicare-covered services in and out of network, anywhere in the United States.
  • $0 copay on generic prescription drugs and up to $120 in free over-the-counter health products each year.
  • Preventive dental, hearing and vision coverage with reduced costs for hearing aids and eyeglasses, plus an optional comprehensive dental plan.
  • Free One Pass® fitness membership with access to fitness center locations near you and nationwide and online resources including on-demand and live-streaming fitness classes, individual exercises and activities the help improve attention, brain speed, memory and cognitive resilience, all geared for seniors.

Security also offers a plan with added benefits and huge savings for individuals who have both Medicare and Medicaid. Unique features of all plan options will appeal to Medicare beneficiaries based on their budget and lifestyle choices.

At the seminars and appointments, Security Health Plan representatives will discuss the advantages of each plan type and explain when people are allowed to enroll, what is and is not covered, and what charges they will incur. In-person seminars are scheduled in western Wisconsin in the municipalities and dates listed below. For specific times and locations and to register online go to www.securityhealth.org/medicarehelp.
